Whilst I was employed by The Thatched Garage as a parts advisor I was asked to produce images for social media and for the advertising of their tuning company TMD Tuning.
The photographs were taken on an early foggy morning by the office. The light bar and other additions were wanted to be shown. I used this image of the new Land Rover Defender as it clearly shows the light bar on the roof that was on sale at that time. There was shots with the lights shining through the fog however you lost the detail of the product.
I chose to edit the photograph into black and white as it showed the mat black wrap alongside the shiny black parts and brought out the fog.
I kept the whole advertisement in a simple black and white with provided product photographs as researching the advertisements already in the publication they were bright colour but over crowded with images and words. I kept the advert bright and simple so it stood out amongst the other over crowded advertisements.
